Hello

Hello I'm Debbie Green, hopefully meeting a need I have noticed in my 30 years of working in schools (I suppose 48, if you include being a pupil!).

I taught Key Stage 2 for five years prior to having my own family, and have been a volunteer, schoolsworker and area manager for a Christian schoolswork charity called NISCU for the last 28 years.  This wonderful job meant I was invited into around 70 schools and was also tasked with creating resources for our team working across the North West of England. Please contact NISCU (see below) if you'd like a Christian to bring a fun and interactive lesson, assembly or club to your school.  But if it's just resources you need - posters, powerpoints, activity sheets - I'd love to help.

I am a co-author with my sister, Ruth Rice (Director of Renew Wellbeing), of the "A-Z of Wellbeing for Children" (published by Authentic Media) as well as the accompanying "Toolkit" for teachers. I have been commissioned to write many school resources for Blackburn Diocese including their "Year of Prayer" and "Centenary Celebration" resources coming up in 2026. I regularly write for "Weekly@", Blackburn Diocese's free online children's material for churches.  I also produce meditation scripts (free-lance) for Our Daily Bread Ministries.
